Comment: Had my first stay at the apartments this year with my family.

We were advised to stay there instead of the hotel this year as we needed more space unlike our previous stay at the hotel. What a fab apartment. Equals the high standards of the hotel. Once again a big thank you to the Torres family for making us so welcome. Lovely to see you all again. Nothing is too much trouble for the family and staff at the ciguenya. Comment: had a weeks stay at the portinax apartments, it was fantastic, huge apartments, i was with my parents, daughter and niece and still had plenty of room, they were very clean and had eveything you could need. torres family & staff very welcoming as usual. we have previously stayed at the hotel which is also fabulous however with a 1 year old there was much more room at apartments. food at hotel even better this year will be returning again.

We met so many people on the beach who all strongly recommended these apartments. We ate at the restaurant 3 times during our week stay - excellent food and such friendly service. S'Arenal Pe*** is a very special place and when we return we shall be booking these apartments.

Comment: Just had another two weeks of total relaxation at La Ciguena. The staff can't do enough for you and the room is always exceptionally clean. There are fantastic views from the room balcony. It is great value for money and Pepe's buffet in the evening is even better this year.

Comment: Our family group of 9 (aged between 4 and 70) have just returned from a wonderful week at the Portinatx Apartments. All 3 apartments were spotless and had everything we needed. The view from the balconies was quite superb, overlooking the lovely beach and the beautiful bay. We chose the half board plan which meant we got to eat at La Ciguenya hotel a few minutes stroll away. The food here was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble for the helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

They were very hygienic and spacious and the view from our balcony was great as we could see the whole of the bay and the boats at night! Would definetly recomend and go back there sometime again.

This year we took our daughter and son in law and their little girl Charlotte there as they had just got married. As ever the hotel was brilliant and thanks to Mariano, Jose and Lolli for making it really special. Never tasted champagne sangria like it! Thanks to Jose for the recipe. Comment: Arrived at La Ciguenya hotel and was like I had never left in May. Juan, shook his head when he saw me, not you again. We had a great time again and relished meeting all our mates. Comment: Once again another fantastic holiday in Portinatx. The number of people returning year after year both to the resort and to La Ciguenya bares witness to how clean the hotel is, how friendly all of the staff are and how good the food is. We have been eight times now and returned to the resort fifteen years. The resort is perfect for relaxing and dining and does not boast noisey clubs. Not suitable for teenage ravers or infirm travellers. Thank you to all at La Ciguenya, so so professional!

Comment: This was our first visit to La Ciguena and it won't be our last. The Torres family are lovely, and made us all very welcome. Our young son loved having chips cooked for him whenever he wanted, nothing seems to be too much trouble. The setting is beautiful, what more could you ask for in a holiday. Well worth a visit.

the food is superb and all the staff are great and nothing is too much trouble.the rooms are very clean and comfy.
sitting on the balcony in the evening with a gin and tonic looking out across the beach and the sea takes some beating.

Comment: We booked this hotel about 20 years ago and went year after year for a good few years when our kids were young, they loved it. I just looked at the pictures and the same family still run the hotel which is amazing after all this time. Apart from the friendly atmosphere the location is fantastic as its right on the beach. I am considering maybe next year going back it would be great. We have stayed at a good number of hotels and in terms of location you cant beat being right at the water edge.

year on year they re-invest in there hotel i have seen it grow but the standards never slip.

Comment: This hotel has always been my little bit of paradise since going away there with my mother in 1996. We had to find somewhere that we both could enjoy and thought this may pose a problem but we chose unbelievably wisely! I even returned for a further 2 weeks on my own later that year and since then I took my husband to visit for the day and he loved it so much that we now make a point of going whilst the footie is on every 2 years. The hotel is simple in character and has great views, food and a beach bar that is the envy of all around. The staff really look after you and we will return (again) next year.

Comment: Having visited Ibiza on 7 previous occasions mostly in the San Antonio Bay area we did not know what to expect here.This has got to be the best holiday we have ever had.The room was spotless, the staff very friendly and helpful.We ate out twice the other 12nights were spent on the terrace ,the food was so good.The Champagne Sangria was recommended and we drank it every night.Portinatx is peaceful ideal for a relaxing

Comment: This was my second year of coming to Portinatx and it is still the best holiday I have been on. The food in the restaurant was exceptional, and for me the location helped me to chill out. I also met some good mates – Dan and Lauren – it was a good laugh. I would definitely recommend La Ciguena to anyone of any age. Comment: Have been visiting La Ciguena for 8 years. We just love everything. Food, staff and accomodation - all excellent. Back again in 2005 for more sea, sun and sangria!

Comment: Have stayed in the hotel for 4 years now - the rooms are exceptionally clean & the views superb. The staff would bend over backwards to assist you and the food is supberb. Late nights downstairs in the bar are recommended to all ages - will not go anywhere else now.
